Fees
As part of the Recreation Fee Demonstration Program instituted by Congress in 1996,
entrance fees are collected year round. Eighty percent (80%) of all fees collected now
stay in Mount Rainier National Park.
Single Person Entry: $5.00
Entry into Mount Rainier National Park by foot, bicycle, or motorcycle for seven days.
Single Vehicle Entry (private non-commercial): $10.00
Valid at Mount Rainier National Park for seven days.
Commercial Vehicle Entry (fee based on seating capacity):
1-6 passenger capacity: $25 + $5 per passenger
7-15 passenger capacity: $75
16-25 passenger capacity: $100
26+ passenger capacity: $200
Valid at Mount Rainier National Park for seven days.
Mount Rainier National Park Pass: $20.00
Valid at Mount Rainier National Park for one year from month of purchase.
Golden Age Passport: $10.00
Lifetime pass, available to U.S. residents 62 years old and over, valid at all Federal fee
areas.
Golden Eagle Passport: $50.00
Valid at all Federal entrance fee parks or areas for one year from month of purchase.
Golden Access Passport
Lifetime pass, available only to citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. who have been
medically determined to be blind or permanently disabled
